Why Doodlebug?

Doodlebug Connection provides a loving and home-like environment for kids to be kids! The wonderful benefits of mixed age groups allow for children to experience the world through each others eyes, as well as helping develop leadership skills, create motivation, and much more!

We provide our Doodlebugs with a safe way to explore the world around them through play, art, music, nature, and their own senses! We focus on helping with fine and gross motor skills, learning the basics, such as potty training, but also how to interact with their peers, be polite, and develop a thirst for learning!

We offer fun activities to stimulate their minds and teach them along the way. However, we are big believers that kids need to be kids so we also offer lots of outdoor time, messy projects, and free play to help feed their imaginations!

"Both of my children have been with Doodlebug caregivers since they were six-weeks old. I cannot even express my gratitude for the care and love they show my children every day. Their preschool program has been really amazing for our son, he is engaged and learning every day. They teach the children real life skills like how to be kind, how to share, and how to be friends. Doodlebug is not a school, or a daycare, it is a family and we are lucky to be a part of the Doodlebug Connection community." ~ Emily M.
"Alex and LeeAnn are truly amazing and I consider them family. I trust my kids are in the best care possible when I drop them off. Sometimes they might even be in better care (dad joke). I can't rave enough about how great this place is." ~ Matt M.
"LeeAnn and Alex have been watching both my children since they were 6 weeks old...Having loving reliable childcare makes it easier to go to work every day. They've done such a wonderful job from from learning to crawl and walk to potty training and now learning early writing, reading, and math skills. They provide great childcare and have fostered a supportive community of families." ~ Sandy J.
"We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today."
"A person's a person, no matter how small."
"Children must be taught how to think, not what to think."
